Frequently asked questions

The questions families ask most.

Everything families usually want to know before booking. If your question isn't here, bring it to your free Discovery Call. That's exactly what it's for.

How do consultations work?

All consultations take place virtually by video call, so you can meet from anywhere in Ontario. Everything starts with a free 20-minute Discovery Call to talk through your child's needs and find the right place to begin.

What ages and stages do you work with?

Evergrow supports families across the school years, with particular depth in the early and elementary years. If you're unsure whether your child's stage is the right fit, the Discovery Call is the place to ask.

What if we don't have an assessment yet?

You don't need one. Many families reach out simply because something feels off. A consultation can help you make sense of what you're seeing, decide whether an assessment makes sense for your child, and identify supports you can start right away.

Do you speak with my child's school directly?

No, and that's by design. Cheryl prepares and coaches you, so the knowledge and confidence stay with your family. You'll walk into every school conversation knowing what to ask for and why.

Do you work with both public and independent schools?

Yes. Cheryl has spent nearly two decades writing and implementing IEPs, accommodations, and support plans, and has supported families navigating both public boards and independent schools.

Do I have to choose one consultation type?

No. The consultation types describe the most common ways families work with Evergrow, but every conversation is shaped around your questions, and ongoing support at an hourly rate is always available.

How do fees work?

Consultations are simple, flat-fee sessions, with hourly support available for ongoing questions. We'll talk through fees and the right fit on your free Discovery Call.

Are our conversations confidential?

Completely. Your conversations with Evergrow are private and fully independent of any school or school board. What you share stays between you and Cheryl.
